Ye of such little faith!!!

Let's not forget we're barely out of the Holiday Season!!! Our house is still jacked up, toys and stuff all over the place, and we're moving at the end of the month!!! The only time I get to do nothing is when the girls go to get their hair done!!!

So here's an idea, clean your houses, beat your spouses, and then get back online!!!

Happy New Year,
Clyde

p.s. Don't beat your spouses...

Well, the Eagles didn't make it, but Obama did. Felt he struck the right note in address. Some people here at work sound like they think he walks on water, but somehow I doubt it. I do wish him and our country the best. (I voted 3rd party. Have decided to vote my conscience and not for the lesser of 2 evils - believe both mainline parties are too similar.)

(Even in high school felt that a parliamentary form of government had many merits - separation of head of state from head of government, majority party has a chance to accomplish something besides stalemate, coalition governments when there is no clear single party winner, more than 2 parties caught in eternal gridlock. More flavors than chocolate and vanilla - what about peach, strawberry, butterscotch and butter pecan?)

Now, for something much more important. Are we still talking about a shore weekend this summer? Being in health care, I need to get my time off now; in fact, may already be too late.

Those stinking EAGLES, or IGGLES, for those of you still in the area. Sorry, Kevin W., but you should have known better. I remember Norm Snead, and that's all I have to say...except maybe GO FLYERS!!!

And Christine is right! I have to schedule my INTOWN Super Bowl Party two weeks in advance. This CLEARLY isn't '78. South Jersey Soccer Moms: Get a committee, go to Ott's, pick us some dates...give us Southern Folk some planning time!!!

And to ALL, get back online, otherwise I'll start surfin' PORN all over again!!!

Peace & Love,
Clyde

Got back from Ariizona Tuesday morning at 3 AM. Long trip with a downer outcome in the game. Was a great game and thought they were going to pull it out after a pitiful 1st half. Anyway hopefully next year. Born in 60 and still have not seen an Eagle's Championship. Hope to see one in this lifetime.

Planning next year's road trips as soon as away schedule comes out. Have never been to Oakland but even with all of the issues with the crowd think that is # 1 choice and Chicago # 2. Solid home schedule so many home games next year.

Phillies train 5 miles from the homestead so will be time to take in some spring training games very soon.

Time to get back to life now that the season is over. Heading to Idaho for Cross Country skiing & Snow mobiling. The arctic blast in FL the past few days has been at least somewhat preparatory in nature.

Be well & God Bless.

David,

Glad to see some life on the site! When you are in Idaho, don't forget that Seattle is not too far from there so give me a shout! Still looking for anyone that may be in Vegas Super Bowl weekend. I'll be there Friday-Monday. Give me a call on my cell...253-232-7073.

Daniel O'Donnell

Hello, all
Just checking in to help keep the ball rolling. Well, the birds lost to the little birds. My sister lost the election to Biden. (surprise).I put the house up for sale and started looking for a bigger one. What was more than enough room for a swinging bachelor will be a bit snug for the insta-family I've aquired. Kristine is doing well. She's begun her jiffy pop impression. It will be a while before she catches up with me, though. sorry, guys, no more bikini pics for a while.
I think it was Eric who quoted John lennon earlier in this forum, "Life's what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."
Just holding on, enjoying the ride. Hope you all are too.

Dan-Got to admit-I kind of envy you. My kids are becoming young adults and are more involved in their own doings. Let me know how it works out-You may want to start boosting the energy level. Yeah Lennon got it right!

Ok...long out of touch here...having too much fun with some of you on facebook...another way to keep in touch. And there's a Moorestown High School page, although I think everyone's 16!!

Sorry the Eagles didn't make it in, although I think I'll pass my vote to the Cardinals now...wish I was going...it's on the other coast.

It's still fun reading all the blogs...glad to see more people joined...!Wish I was closer in town to catch up with you all more often.

However...it's 73 in FLorida right now--- sorry I hear many of you are about to get some snow1

01/28/09 09:48 AM #333

Victoria VanDuser (McGrath)

Lucky you! 73 sounds pretty nice right about now - We got 3-4" of snow last night, with a coating of ice over the top for good measure. The kids are all home, off from school, which means nothing gets done today! Oh well -

It's good to read from all of you and hear that you are doing well. Dan - congratulations! Best of luck to you -

Christine - sorry I did not get back to your last message! It would be fun to get together some time and do some catching up; let me know what works for you -

V~

P.S. LOVED the Jiffy-Pop comment. Nearly dropped my coffee over that one! (And having Jiffy-Popped three times myself now, Kristine has my sympathy! LOL)

Martha, Prospectors sounds like a great idea. it's great that we can still catch up after the reunion. So far 2009 has been good. Everyone is well and the kids are doing great in school. I may even have a future Hume's tennis player (my littlest one) Clyde it was nice to hear from you and I was not a snob I was just very shy!!!! Sounds like things are great with you glad to hear. Just had a going away party for Greg Pryor if anyone knew him, he moved with his significant spouce and 3 kids to SC we had quite a few class of 77 here but i was saved by Dennis Haines. Had a great time and alot of laughs.

Martha-
Did Prospectors used to be called the hideout years ago?

02/19/09 01:16 PM #337

Daniel O'Donnell

I think you're right, Eric. That was the place to go to cheat on your wife decades ago. The lights were low and the parking lot was hidden by trees. I don't know from experience, mind you. I was way too young. Oh, and I never cheat.

02/20/09 09:52 PM #338

Yes it was the Hide Away. Are you going to come?

It's great to see a few more classmates being added.
Everyone keep up the good work on passing the word about this site. Don't forget to take a look at our reunion photo's, and please add updateds to
