Kevin,
I don't know if you remember that I was in a few of the plays, of course everyone had a crush on you back then, you were the star. Ralph and I still touch base, miss him lately, since he moved. We almost took a transfer to your area, but decided to stay on the east coast near family. But you are definatly in a great area. My brother is the Vegas area, if we ever plan a trip at the same time it would be fun to hook up. Luanne

Hey Lisa,
How are you? Haven't touched based since? 1979?
Life is great, 3 kids, 5 pets, one husband, many homes, at least 16. Luanne

Oh, geeze; sorry Dave, Eric's passage of October 10, 6:08PM. The suggestion was the day of the reunion at Memorial Field, and it was touch not flag (my bad).

Suggestions anyone?

Lisa,

I was so blessed to have trained there. The first year there Ed Viner came over from Philadelphia to be Chair of Medicine. I had him my very first month when I was an intern on my first rotation as my attending. We became very close as we diagnosed my Dad with leukemia my intern year (he did great for many years). I was kind of Ed's pet project through my residency as we developed a very close bond. You may not have heard the stories but one night we were getting slammed with admissions (I was the 2nd year resident on call). The gang was low on morale so we got some coffee and went down to the lobby outside of the ER. There was an older doc who I will not name that always busted our chops on rounds. I went into the operator station and picked up the overhead microphone and paged this gentleman to ladie's lingerie. Unfortunately this physician happened to be in the hospital for an emergency and he was not really amused by my antics. Got in quite a bit of trouble for that one. Thank goodness Ed could see beyond my youthfulness and foolishness because for one brief moment thought I was a goner.

Hey Luanne, you were always on the move girl! Remember our great homeroom and times at Lynchburg? Your boys and Harley are awesome. Wish you were coming to the reunion. -Lisa

Brendan, turns out that one of my favorite cadets at "the Forge" knows you. There I was giving out Flu shots in the barracks when he told me that he knew you. He said that you lost a soldier in training. I'm sorry to hear that. We'll catch up at the reunion -Lisa

Dave, do you remember Tony Leoni's "liver rounds" announced over the speaker (code for happy hour across the street)? The poor operator had no clue what it meant. We would laugh our heads off.

Lisa,
Wish I was going to be there too! Life is great, love my boys and my hubby. I fly in every two months to see my mom and grandma, let's try to hook-up then. Luanne

I hang out with Tony at Eagle's games. He has Eagle's season tix also and we see each other at some medical meetings. I got really close with Kenny Jackson (Eagle's WR) and his cousin Chilli when Kenny had the corner tavern next to the hospital. The place was amazing on Friday nights. Chilli was supposed to be managing and he would sit and start drinking with Toni, myself and the hospital staff and then start saying Toni/David go get these guys some drinks. We would mix drinks all night for hours and there was absolutely no way to tell who owed what. Kenny, Randall, and a few of the other guys would occasionally hang out and it was all cool until Kenny's new girlfriend put the hammer down. 2nd year Xmas party we took over the top floor above the restaurant. She was not psyched when she came upstairs and Chilli was partying with us in the private party. Kenny is coaching at Penn State now. Hey, I may ask Leone to the football game if we have one. The class will love this guy. He is one of the very best.

Lise, Luanne, Eric; sorry about your losses. That's all I got. When it comes to berievement words are worthless but say on, at least it shows where the heart is. I was at Cooper, March, 1995 PICU; first unit on the right as you entered. I was sitting in a rocking chair someone found for me cradling my eight month old son when he died in my arms. His birthday's pass quietly here, and I still don't know what to say to other people who have lost.

Wow, this site is getting additive...OK, I'm out for the night after this one.

John, the memorial field idea is great. I'm not sure if I'm up for two trips to Mo-town in one week-end, but hell, I'll try. Also, you are one talented writer. Seriously, I'm envisioning a novel or something.

Danny O, also a talented writer. You have an incredible memory for all of the comical details of life at MHS in the 70's. Keep'em coming!

I also am sorry to all for their losses. John I am so very saddened by the hardship that you had to face. So sorry.

John, OBX is The Outer Banks in North Carolina. Great place. Fell in love with it as a kid and live for fishing there now as I have a small home there. Only problem is the hurricanes as juts out into the Atlantic pretty far. Kind of my get away as Joan is not really into fishing and she lets me head there for solo time away frequently. There is nothing quite like a totally empty beach, the sun going down and the blues running and just slamming the Gotcha rigs. I live for those moments. Be well.

See...one of the great benefits of being on the West Coast is that everyone else is falling asleep, while it's still early out here......can you say MNF done before 9pm! Ms. Mulle....have you seen/talked to Clayton Clark at all over the years? You guys lived right up the street from us, I believe he is still in his house on Eastbourne Terrace. You look the same! I can distinctly remember your voice even after 30 years! Great looking family. Hope you have agreat time at the reunion. Louanne, I do remember the great times in the plays...not so much the cast parties! Anytime you get to Vegas to visit your friend, give me a shout!

Kevin,
My brother lives in Vegas. I will let you know if I am in the area. It would be nice to hook up. Take Care, Luanne

Thank you, my dear people. This means so much. The Lord is and my Chris is there in one of his many mansions. One day we'll be together and THERE will be a party.

I love you, Lisa. You looked into my soul again. I do enjoy writing and I've got a short story going right now; plus you may just want to give some thought to coming to memorial field, I may choose to suspend the rules and tackle you at the risk of you kicking my ass and leaving the rest to your husband.

Do you, by chance, remember the Health class we were in where Miss Fonte had us be nice to someone but we weren't susposed to know who our benefactors were? You were the liaison between me and my benefactor; you came up at the beginning of class and gave me a pack of fruit flavored life savers, and told me that my benefactor asked you to do this for her; I asked you who she was but you wouldn't tell. One day you and I were called to the administration offices and on the way I kept bothering you to tell me who it was. Among any one else in school, Lisa I learned how disarming you are; you can make a flagpole bend like a willow reed. you have such an easy, unpretentious way of talking to someone; I'm realy looking forward to seeing you again.

Andy Cleff; Father of the websight, you were the first one to suggest a football game; you've been reading this. What do you want to do? Laurie? Jeanette? Martha? What is your pleasure?

An afternoon football game, reunion, Saturday afternoon aperitifs at Otts if there are no hang-overs. Bring our little callendars, pens, pictures cell-phones and let what may, follow. Just a thought. Any one; let's use the forum.

Brendon,
We go way back back. I was your patrol leader in Boy Scouts. Who's had the last laugh on that. Your service on behalf of OUR COUNTRY is all up in our collective faces. AND CONGRATS!!!
And I certainly meant no harm in reference to your sons. Of course, Zahra is only (3) and won't be dating until I can buy a shotgun like all good Georgia Dads. I am more than happy to welcome your family into mine as long as you can deal with pulled pork & moonshine!!!

This ain't New England!

John N,
I coach a college soocer team for beer and smiles. My old lady tolerates me because I enjoy it so much. I teach my Daughter how to play lacrosse in the house w/o breaking anything, because that makes me happy too!
Please don't give me any credit for being - feeling - how great it is simply to be alive. That comes from GOD, and I'm not about to show off for something I have no control over! I'm just happy to be here!!!

Peace,
Clyde

A football game. Yes. I hope it rains like heck the night before so we can have a classic mud bowl.

I will alert the media, but in the meantime let's figure out the best day...the democratic way.

There's a poll now available. Follow the "a football game" link in the main nav bar.

Who's going to bring the bloody mary's and the first aid kit?

Cleff,

You were ALWAYS PLEASANTLY NUTS - I hope it rains too!!! I just hate I won't be there. Keep me online for the LAX champs this Spring. My daughter is a future All-America and I want to expose her early!!!

Peace & Love,
Clyde

Clyde,
I love the photo of you and your daughter at the water's edge....though i found it reminiscent of the scene in "Young Frankenstein" (and the subject of it's parody). You haven't been chased by peasant mobs with torches lately have you?
